The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District (WestK) a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

If you are passionate about arts and culture and looking for an internship experience, join the West Kowloon Graduate Internship Programme to learn about and explore one of the most important cultural projects in Hong Kong.

A unique opportunity for graduates interested in developing a career in the arts and culture industry. Interns will work closely with professional staff in the authority full-time for a period up to 12 months.

You will be responsible for:
* Execute a wide spectrum of communications and marketing initiatives under supervision so as to build, enhance and protect the brand reputation of the Hong Kong Palace Museum and WestK;
* Assist in organising PR and publicity initiatives, including exhibition opening, media events, visits, interviews and photo/video shoot;
* Develop communications collaterals, including press releases, fact sheets, presentation materials, and other writing assignments as required;
* Build and maintain good rapport with Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and overseas media;
* Conduct media monitoring, reporting and coverage analysis;
* Maintain media and stakeholders database;
* Support crisis communications and issues management, including message development, media relations and internal and external stakeholders liaison;
* Coordinate joint PR collaborations with arts and cultural programme partners, government organisations and media;
* Liaise with external agencies, vendors and business partners to ensure the seamless execution of public relations campaigns.
* Handle ad-hoc communications tasks when required; and
* performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.

You should:
* possess a recognised university degree in journalism, communications, public affairs, politics/international relations or related disciplines;
* preferably possess 1-3 year(s) of relevant postgraduate work experience; fresh graduate is welcomed;
* be able to execute projects independently with guidance to achieve the communications goals;
* possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be a good team player with creativity and dynamism and able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines;
* be passionate about arts and culture; and have excellent spoken and written English and Chinese; be proficient in Putonghua.
