Tasks
For talents with an entrepreneur mindset and the courage to shape the future, the "Start up! "Trainee program for 18 months offers a space to learn and develop. We offer you a wide range of insights into our organization, as well as the opportunity to leave your comfort zone and learn about new topics in order to reach your full potential.
* Get started and manage your own career! You will have 5 project assignments: the first within HR. You can then choose your other projects individually - across the Group.
* Get out of your comfort zone! After your first assignment, you decide which topics you want to dive deeper into. During the program, we want you to get out of your comfort zone and explore new fields within Deutsche Telekom. We will support you with a broad network.
* Expand your network and experience the trainee community! Fridays are reserved for "Magenta Friday." All trainees come together and work on strategic, innovative growth topics outside of their own project assignments. The trainees work in various teams, where they organize events, promote their development or contribute to social initiatives.
* Go international! Leading digital telecommunications company with no international experience? Never! One of your (3-month) assignments will be abroad. Which country and which city is up to you.
* Understand our business! Take the opportunity to get to know Deutsche Telekom's operational business. During our "Service Days," you can get direct insights into how Deutsche Telekom works with customers. Choose your "Service Days," such as a day in customer service, a visit to the T-Shop or a stop at one of our service centers. You'll get direct insights into how we turn customers into fans every day.
* Choose your start date! There is an opportunity to start the program every quarter. Simply discuss with your contact person which date suits you best.
Profil
You have successfully completed a degree in economics, business administration, psychology, social sciences, IT or a comparable degree program - all degrees (bachelor, master, doctorate) are welcome.
You have the following knowledge:
* People in focus: You are a passionate team player and have a passion for creating the best experiences for our employees by getting involved in topics such as IT, HR Tech, HR Data Analytics, Learning & Development, Leadership, and much more.
* Analytical skills: Ability to analyze HR data and derive insights to support strategic decisions.
* Relevant experience: You have relevant internships or work experience (ideally a total of up to around 1 year of relevant professional experience) - not only in the area of human resources, but also in other areas such as strategy, consulting or in technical and data-related environments.
* Basic skills in personnel management: Understanding basic HR concepts such as recruitment, onboarding, employee retention and development.
* Understanding of corporate strategies: Basic understanding of how HR can contribute to achieving corporate goals.
* Intercultural competence: Our start up! The community thrives on its internationality. Therefore, you should have strong intercultural skills in your DNA. International experience - whether through study abroad, work & travel, etc. - is therefore a must.
* Commitment and entrepreneurial spirit: As a start! As a trainee, are you passionate about driving change! Experience in social engagement and/or in entrepreneurial projects is therefore very welcome.
* Language skills: You are fluent in written and spoken English and German at C1 level.
