The Project

The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project. In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels - the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

The Role:

As Project Planner on T2D, you will conduct the planning and project controls function to ensure safe, high-quality delivery in line with project time, cost and performance objectives.

With a focus on tunnelling you will be responsible for planning, developing detailed construction programs, and monitoring performance to ensure successful delivery outcomes. You will play a critical role in embedding a strong planning and controls culture aligned to project governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support development and maintenance of detailed project schedules across T2D work packages
* Conduct program reviews to drive delivery certainty
* Ensure all planning activities are aligned with project and organisational policies and procedures
* Establish and maintain effective Project Controls systems across time, cost, resources and quality
* Monitor performance using earned value principles and provide accurate forecasting
* Interface closely with project teams, Alliance partners, client representatives, consultants, designers, vendors and subcontractors
* Identify risks, issues and opportunities early and proactively escalate where required
* Support Project Managers with performance analysis, reporting, forward planning and corrective action development
* Drive collaboration across disciplines to ensure accurate information flow for planning and controls functions
* Contribute to benchmarking and reference data compilation to support future planning initiatives
* Identify and support capability uplift in planning systems and performance reporting

About You:

* Demonstrated experience working on large-scale, complex infrastructure projects
* Extensive hands-on experience using Primavera P6 on major infrastructure projects with highly complex schedules comprising extensive work breakdown structures and substantial volumes of activities
* Proven experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to construction and commissioning
* Strong knowledge of earned value management and project controls methodologies
* Experience implementing monitoring systems covering time, cost, resources and quality
* Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to provide reliable forecasting
* Experience operating in fast-paced, high-risk project environments
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
