Junior DCM Origination

The mission of the ING Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Origination team is to originate bond and related products (for industrial groups, banks, agencies and sovereign issuers) for the entire ING group. We are looking for a dynamic colleague for our origination activities from Brussels (focus of Belgian, French and CEE corporate and sovereign clients).

Through ongoing contacts with the DCM platform colleagues, syndication, liability management, hybrid and ESG experts and the entire value chain specialists (including traders, sales and research colleagues) as well as through regular contacts with worldwide account managers, the originator will play a key role in the origination of new bond transactions, developing the ING Corporate franchise. the new colleague will support the senior originators for the coverage of a portfolio of clients in Belgium, France and the CEE region.

The originator will join a young and dynamic team working in an international context and will have the following responsibilities:
* Prepare and supervise the clients pitches, deal with proposal requests and keep clients up to date with credit market analysis on an ongoing basis
* Maintain very close contacts with the Pams, the Bond syndicate team as well as the entire value chain to understand the primary and secondary markets dynamics and advise your clients portfolio on bond related topics.
* Create opportunities by understanding issuer needs and using DCM toolbox including sustainability, liability management exercises and hybrid capital.
* Will constantly expand his knowledge of the dynamic financial markets and maintain contacts within the entire Debt Markets platform and the bank.

Qualifications :
University degree (Economic orientation/Legal/business). An Academic background with coursework in Finance or economics is a plus
