Job Description:
💼 Your Role: Key Account Manager - Clinical Research
As a Key Account Manager, you'll be the trusted partner for a select group of strategic clients. You'll drive growth, build long-term relationships, and act as the vital link between our clients and SGS's global Clinical Research Organization.
What You'll Do:
* Be the go-to contact for key clients, building trust and delivering value.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and uncover new opportunities.
* Lead regular business reviews to align on goals, address challenges, and propose tailored solutions.
* Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and an exceptional client experience.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize client potential.
* Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to proactively guide your strategy.
* Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing in partnership with our business development team.
* Provide timely, solution-oriented support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
* Align internal stakeholders with account strategies to unlock new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
🎓 What You Bring:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
* Proven experience in Key Account Management, sales, or client relationship roles-ideally within a CRO or Clinical Research setting.
* Strong understanding of the drug development process.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
* A strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and a passion for client success.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
* A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Willingness to travel to meet clients when needed.
