Junior Accounting Specialist with Italian

For an international client, we are currently looking for a Junior Accounting Specialist with Italian to join their growing Finance team in Sofia. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to start or further develop their career in accounting within a dynamic, fast-paced global environment.

Main Responsibilities:

* Process supplier invoices accurately and in accordance with internal policies
* Perform invoice-to-purchase order matching within financial systems
* Validate invoice details, ensuring completeness, approvals, and compliance
* Communicate with Italian-speaking vendors regarding invoice and payment-related queries
* Support payment processing and assist in resolving payment issues
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to Accounts Payable
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations
* Support month-end closing activities and reporting
* Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Up to 1 year of experience (internship or junior role is sufficient)
* Very good command of Italian (B2-C1)
* Good level of English (B1-B2)
* Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
* Analytical mindset and willingness to learn
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
