Job Description
The Treasury Analyst manages day-to-day banking processes, executes daily and weekly vendor payments, performs bank account reconciliations, and is accountable for cash GL accounts. This role investigates and resolves reconciliation differences, follows up on open items, and supports audits and internal controls. The Treasury Analyst also books loan interest and supports cash pool activity to ensure accurate cash positioning and reporting.
Key responsibilities ✅
* Process daily and weekly payments to vendors, manually and through bank platforms, based on Treasury Coordinator confirmation.
* Execute and document payment runs (where applicable), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time processing.
* Complete the daily treasury checklist, including bank statement receipt validation and follow-up for missing statements.
* Upload and maintain bank statements in the relevant tools/systems to support downstream reconciliation and controls.
* Prepare payment proposals based on Accounts Payable (AP) vendor registrations for CH, Colombia, and Argentina.
* Prepare monthly intercompany (IC) payment proposals for CH, Colombia, and Argentina.
* Manage bank account reconciliations, ensuring timely clearing of reconciling items and proper support for balances.
* Own and monitor Cash GL accounts, troubleshooting differences and driving resolution of open items with internal stakeholders.
* Book loan interest entries and support related month-end activities as required.
* Support cash pool activity (bookings, controls, and reconciliation support) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Support treasury and internal/external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and control evidence.
* Track and resolve payment rejections/returns, coordinating with banks, AP, and internal teams to reprocess and prevent recurrence.
Required qualifications 🎯
* Experience in Treasury Operations, Cash Management, AP/Payments, Accounting, or Finance Operations.
* Working knowledge of banking platforms, payments processing, and reconciliation practices.
* Strong understanding of internal controls and attention to detail in transactional environments.
* Ability to investigate variances and follow through to closure across multiple stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with financial systems (ERP and reconciliation tools).
* Strong organizational skills to manage daily deadlines and recurring payment cycles.
Preferred qualifications ⭐
* Experience supporting multiple countries/entities (e.g., CH, Colombia, Argentina).
* Experience with cash pool processes and/or loan interest accounting.
* Familiarity with reconciliation tools (e.g., Blackline or similar).
* Experience supporting audits and control documentation.
