As a Data & Solutions Engineer at Schneider Electric, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decisions across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative digital solutions that optimize business performance.
In addition to your data analytics responsibilities, you will contribute to application development initiatives, working in a model similar to a software house environment. You will help build, enhance, and maintain internal applications and analytical tools that address complex business challenges. Leveraging your understanding of business processes and technology, you will also support solution architecture activities, ensuring that developed solutions are scalable, user-centric, and aligned with Schneider Electric's digital transformation strategy.
Your analytical expertise, technical capabilities, and problem-solving mindset will be essential in driving efficiency, automating workflows, and creating impactful solutions that support sustainable and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Transform raw data into structured, analytics-ready datasets using Power Query and other ETL techniques, ensuring accuracy and consistency for downstream analysis.
Analyze and interpret complex datasets to generate actionable insights that support strategic business decisions and operational improvements.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and data visualization solutions that clearly communicate trends, KPIs, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
Develop and enhance internal applications and digital tools using PowerApps, Excel automation, and Power Automate to streamline workflows, automate business processes, and solve operational challenges.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business, IT, and engineering teams to deliver
end-to-end data and digital solutions aligned with organizational priorities.
Act as a technical problem-solver, proposing data-driven optimizations and digital enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support continuous improvement.
Design data models, reporting structures, and user-centric dashboards that enable informed, real-time decision-making across the business.
Contribute to solution architecture activities by assisting in the design of scalable, integrated data and application ecosystems that meet both functional and technical requirements.
Apply Agile methodologies to manage IT and digital transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery, iterative development, and continuous value generation.Ensure system reliability, data quality, and platform performance across all analytical and application development initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to
understand business needs and propose logical technical solutions.
* Basic knowledge of Power BI, PowerApps, Excel automation, Power Automate, or
similar data/digital tools (academic, internships, or self-learning acceptable).
* Fundamental understanding of application development concepts, whether through coursework, projects, or personal learning initiatives.
* Basic awareness of solution architecture principles, such as data modeling, system integration, scalability, and user-centric design.
* Ability to design charts, dashboards, or simple applications as part of academic or personal projects.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills, with the ability to
collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Fluency in English is required; French language skills are an advantage.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies (through university projects, certifications, or online courses) is a plus.
* Motivated, eager to learn, and capable of adapting quickly in a digital and fast-paced environment.
