We are looking for an analog/mixed-signal IC design engineer with in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art analog IC design & verification tools. As a member of our dynamic group, you will have the rare and exciting opportunity to craft upcoming products that will delight and encourage millions of Apple's customers every single day.
In this role, you will design data converters and other analog/mixed-signal circuits as IP deliveries. You will work with multi-functional teams to architect and implement state-of-the-art analog/mixed-signal circuits from initial concept towards high volume production. You will drive mask design to implement layout view of designs, coordinate with IP consumers, define production/bench-level test plans, and conduct design reviews of blocks with peers/management to show that the design meets specification targets and requirements.
Deep knowledge of transistor level design Experience with design and validation of complex analog/mixed-signal IPs Solid understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuit blocks such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, filters, bandgap references, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, OpAmps, comparators and switched-cap circuits Deep knowledge of analog/mixed-signal design techniques such as small-signal analysis, feedback loop theory and noise analysis Deep knowledge of analog/mixed-signal concepts such as mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power and low-noise techniques Experience with analog/mixed-signal IC development from definition to production including layout supervision, lab evaluation and characterization Experience in silicon characterization and debugging of mixed-signal circuits, including experience with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and signal generators Experience with Verilog-A/AMS behavioral modeling is a plus Proficiency in English language is required
