Supply Network Planner

Overview

The Supply Network planner role sits in the heart of the Supply Chain Hub within PepsiCo Cork. The planner will partner with our suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of materials to the manufacturing plants. The materials planner will execute against the MRP signal to purchase raw materials and ensure readiness for our customer orders.
Responsibilities

Detailed and accurate response to MRP signals:
* Analysis of purchase requisitions and conversion to raw material Purchase orders
* Responding to exception messaging i.e. expedites / postponements
* Scheduling Material deliveries
* Creation and Maintenance of schedule agreements and compliance to Quota arrangements (split of volume between suppliers)
* Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure readiness of materials for customer orders

Work with suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of materials:
* Accuracy of Supplier Shipping / Order documentation
* Co-ordinate deliveries with inbound carriers and warehousing
* Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance, raise Non Conformance Reports to ensure resolution of issues
Achieve the agreed Working Capital targets for Direct Materials:
* Accuracy and maintenance of Safety Stock and Order Policy settings
* Meet key inventory and material planning KPIs
* Proactive management of Material Reserve risks
* Open order book and inventory management - end of period, quarter, year
* Execution of weekly controls through dashboard reporting
* Adhere to all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements.
Qualifications

* Experience with SAP and MRP systems for procurement is essential
* Strong supply chain experience in a dynamic multinational organization with experience in Purchasing/Material planning
* Proficient computer skills, specifically in MS Office and MS Excel
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks, with strong attention to detail
* Results oriented and committed to achieving objectives; ability to work on own initiative
* Excellent customer awareness and customer focus
* Third level qualification in Supply Chain or related discipline
* Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions

For the purposes of external advertising we have called this role Supply Network Planner. However please note that the internal job title the successful candidate will be Prod Planning & Sched Asst Analyst.
