Your role
You will join the Smart Eyewear and Hearing Solutions group as part of the Hardware Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible to design, develop, test, and optimize radio frequency (RF) systems and components. The role involves hands-on RF design along with support for EMC and ESD performance to ensure robust, compliant products from concept through production.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and product designers, to ensure our products deliver exceptional performance while maintaining a seamless and comfortable user experience.
Main responsibilities:
* Conduct laboratory testing and validation using RF test equipment
* Perform RF simulations and modeling
* Support PCB layout and product design reviews with attention to RF, EMC and signal integrity best practices
* Troubleshoot RF/EMC performance issues and implement corrective actions (filtering, shielding, and grounding strategies)
* Support EMC and ESD testing
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
* Document designs, test procedures, and results
* Support product certification, production bring-up, and field issues as needed
Main requirements:
* Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
* Strong understanding of battery-powered consumer products and their challenges
* Knowledge of wireless standards
* Familiarity with EMC/ESD standards
* Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment
* Experience with high-frequency PCB design
* Experience with product certification and compliance testing
