Responsibilities
The Opportunity
In this role, the candidate will gain valuable, hands-on experience managing spare parts for PepsiCo equipment installed in the field, an essential function to ensure the ongoing performance and reliability of our assets in the market. They will be responsible for generating purchase orders and accurately receiving them in the system, playing a key part in keeping our supply chain running smoothly.
This position offers a unique opportunity to develop a deep understanding of end-to-end parts management, including procurement processes and system transactions. The role is critical to maintaining service continuity and operational excellence, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, solutions-oriented environment and is eager to contribute to continuous improvement efforts within a global company.
Your Impact
* Purchase order generation:
Efficiently process purchase orders for spare parts to ensure timely and accurate procurement in alignment with business needs and vendor lead times.
* Invoice closure in the system:
Ensure timely and accurate closure of invoices in the system, coordinating with coordinators and Sr. Analyst to match goods received with billed amounts.
* Discrepancy resolution:
Identify and resolve issues such as delivery mismatches, missing items, or incorrect pricing. This includes generating backorders, credit notes, and debit adjustments as needed.
* Tariffs management:
Generate the effective payment of the tariffs.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
* 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or related operational roles (internships or entry-level roles are also considered).
* This position requires advanced/fluent English (both written and spoken). Applications will only be considered from candidates who meet this requirement.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PPT, etc).
* Microsoft Power Platform knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement (Bi, Apps, Automate, Pages)
* Detail-oriented and proactive, with a collaborative mindset and always open to supporting and working with team members.
* Ability to learn and manage multiple systems simultaneously, think outside the box, and proactively suggest new and improved ways of doing things.
