Your Mission, roles and responsibilities


The Plant Quality Engineer is responsible for implementing process control programs that will ensure the production of finished goods/items meets or exceeds the requirements specified by the customer. They will also lead continuous improvement using the appropriate tools and provide data analysis.
* Carry out multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from feasibility phases to post-launch quality support, and throughout the production lifecycle.
* Facilitate Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with Engineering in conjunction with Advanced Product Quality Planning activities, and monitor status throughout the production lifecycle.
* Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
* Ensure compliance with the quality documentation system and promote consistency throughout the organization.
* Conduct investigations to determine the causes of defects and recommend corrective actions.
* Maintain a record of customer complaints, facilitating and participating in the corrective action process.Instruct and train personnel in auditing techniques and the use of inspection/testing instruments.
* Monitor and review quality documentation according to requirements.
* Visit customers and suppliers when necessary.Act as a liaison with external and internal customers.
* Review all production methods to ensure they meet quality standards and to improve product and quality standards.
* Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the IATF 16949 system requirements.Have the authority to stop processes or products that are out of control.Be knowledgeable about the systems assigned to the role (IATF, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001).

* Engineering
* 1 to 3 years of experience in the industrial sector (preferably in the automotive industry)
* Intermediate English
* IATF 16949
* PFMEA and Control plan
* Problem solving
* Customer specific requirements
* PPAP
* SPC
