Job Overview

Supervises and schedules the shipping and receiving processes to ensure efficient handling, storage, transportation, and delivery of shipments and goods.

Job Requirements

* Using lean manufacturing principles and contributing to the improvement of existing processes or the development of new ones.
* Inspecting material handling equipment and loading/unloading and storage procedures; reporting any non-compliance and sharing them with their seniors.
* Overseeing safety programs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Supervising the material handling or shipment workers and collaborating with external suppliers to ensure smooth flow and prompt delivery of shipments and goods.

What your background should look like

Escolaridad Mínima
Certificado de Licenciatura/Ingeniería

Experiencia Laboral Mínima
3 años de experiencia en roles dirigiendo el trabajo de otros, experiencia en centros de distribución de altos volúmenes o industria logística.

Habilidades y Conocimientos
* Comunicarse de manera articulada con superiores y Asociados de Logística.
* Observar, monitorear, anticipar, detector y comunicar situaciones donde requiera asistencia para resolverla.
* Habilidad para ejecutar diferentes tareas y asignaciones simultáneamente, enfocándose en cumplir con el objetivo de manera segura y correcta.
* De horario flexible, con habilidad para monitorear diferentes áreas y empleados.
* Experiencia en la reducción de lead time y actividades de rentabilidad
* Hábil en el uso de PC y software (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)
* Experiencia con SAP
