Business Process Expert ATR

Here's the Deal:
As a Business Process Expert (BPE) ATR, you act as the process authority for L3-L5 ATR processes, ensuring standardization, compliance, and continuous improvement across APM Terminals. You support Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Functional Process Owners (FPOs) by providing expert insights on process, data, and system functionality, ensuring that operational standards are understood, feasible, and consistently followed. You represent the voice of the user community, support global governance, and help drive impactful improvements at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Processes & Standardization
* Own and maintain L4 SOPs and related L5 workflows.
* Keep all SOPs updated, including inputs, outputs, KPIs, and success criteria.
* Support FPOs in shaping end-to-end L3 process journeys.
* Drive standardization and automation across terminals.
* Collaborate with peer BPEs to support APMT global standardization goals.
Performance Management & Compliance
* Monitor operational process KPIs and follow up with FPOs/Key Users where needed.
* Contribute to SQDC performance activities and process confirmations.
* Ensure controls are in place to keep processes repeatable, compliant, and audit-ready.
* Identify and manage local exceptions requiring formal sign-off.
* Facilitate knowledge-sharing communities to strengthen skills and alignment.
Change Management
* Review and validate frontline change requests, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
* Identify opportunities to remove waste and improve processes through Kaizens.
* Engage and influence process users to drive adoption of improvements.
* Support deployment of new processes or system changes.
* Lead the Key User community for coaching, communication, and adherence to standards.
* Ensure training materials remain accurate and support new releases or transitions.
The Basics:
* Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
* Years of Experience: 4-6 years, including at least 3 years as a super user in relevant functions
* Software: ERP systems & Excel Intermediate (Pivot Tables & Formulas)
* Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of L3-L5 execution, data flows, systems, and process governance
