General Description:
Import SV, responsible to evaluate carriers, shipping lines, customs brokers, forwarders & logistics performance & services. Stablish & confirm operative & strategic reports, assure carrier payment record delivery on time, transportation delivery monitoring, yards & last mile operation management, stablish strategies to get operative & cost synergies with other Nissan business unit. Key window person with internal departments in order to coordinate productive, strategic & functional activities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Import QCTS KPI´s definition (quality, cost, time & safety)
* Inbound annual budget management for import operation
* Load transportation efficiency performance improvement
* Assure payment to suppliers through shipping record accomplishment
* Shipping forecast execution
* Regional & global meeting attendance
* Transportation planning support
* Last mile management
* Supplier performance assesment
* Design of quality & safety operation
* People management
Education/Certifications:
* Engineering or Bachelor's Degree related (Industrial/ business management, international commerce or similar)

Previous Work Experience
* Import Logistics baseline
* Incoterms basic concepts
* Logistics operation at maritime ports / US border / airports
* Logistic supplier management
* Cubic process knowledge
* Inventory management
* KPI´s deployment
* Improvement projects execution (kaizen)
* Workteam management

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Language: English level: (=>500 Pts. TOEIC)
* Travel %: 100%.
* Must have: Teamwork, people management, responsible, proactive, organized, planning and leadership, work under pressure, negotiation skill.
* Nice to have: Incoterms basis, logistics operations as a basic concepts, inventory management, project management.
* Computer Skills: Office, Excell, executive reports generation.
* Certifications: N/A
* Competencies: Problem solving, Communication, Decision Making and Business Awareness, Negotiation, Workteam thinking, Responsibility, thinking out of the box.
