Title and Summary
Manager, Product Readiness
This role sits within Cross-Border Services, part of the Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF) business unit under the Mastercard Move umbrella, alongside Send and Move Commercial Payments.
Cross-Border Services (XBS) is a global payment solution that enables banks, non-bank financial institutions, and businesses to deliver faster, more transparent payments between senders and recipients, supported by multiple channels and payout methods.
The Product Readiness Manager leads strategic readiness and enablement initiatives across XBS. This includes defining governance frameworks, driving internal and external communications, and ensuring operational preparedness to support the successful launch, scaling, and adoption of key product capabilities. They play a critical supporting role in executing these initiatives, ensuring that product launches and operational readiness activities are delivered with precision, governance, and quality. The role focuses on maintaining documentation standards, managing intake processes, and enabling effective stakeholder communication across global and regional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Launch Readiness & Intake Management
* Manage the formal readiness intake and prioritisation process, ensuring all initiatives enter delivery with complete and approved readiness documentation
* Govern FY launches through a structured readiness review and approval framework
* Own and maintain KMS and SharePoint repositories, ensuring structured, up-to-date, accessible content; drive automation to improve efficiency and governance of readiness processes
Documentation & Governance
* Ensure all product standards, guides, and settlement constructs are updated in line with governance requirements
* Maintain a centralised repository of current, approved readiness documentation
* Drive remediation of legacy documentation gaps and establish periodic review cycles for ongoing accuracy
Reporting & Communication
* Deliver readiness reporting and dashboards to track documentation completeness, intake quality, and overall readiness status
* Lead and scale XBS communication initiatives to improve internal and external processes
* Govern execution of In the Knows, Internal Product Notifications, and product bulletins, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete communications
Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement
* Improve awareness and adoption of readiness requirements and processes
* Establish consistent engagement model supporting global and regional readiness needs
* Embed commercialization readiness into readiness assets and practices to ensure value propositions are clearly positioned

About you:
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for product management and communications. You thrive in complex environments and excel at translating technical detail into clear, actionable content.
You bring:
* Proven experience in product management or communications, with a strong track record of authoring and managing complex product documentation, preferably in the payments industry
* Exceptional writing, editing, and content structuring skills
* Ability to simplify complex processes for diverse global audiences
* Experience creating training materials, management decks, and product bulletins
* Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across technical, commercial, operations, and legal teams
* Project management capabilities within your own scope of work
* Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Degrees in business, communications, or writing-intensive disciplines are advantageous
* Experience in a communication-intensive product management role within digital financial services
* Familiarity with financial services regulatory requirements (e.g. KYC, AML)
* Knowledge of cross-border payments and/or foreign exchange is a plus
* Understanding of the product management lifecycle, especially API-based products and solutions
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
* Excellent organisational and self-motivation skills
* Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across global teams
* Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, MS Teams, or similar platforms
* Availability to be in the office 3 times per week
