Are you a natural host with a passion for leadership and luxury service? At Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, we're looking for a Desk Manager who brings structure, warmth and excellence to every guest interaction - from check-in to fond farewell.
Your role in the journey
As Desk Manager, you'll lead the Front Office team during your shift, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest service. You'll be the go-to person for both guests and team members, creating a warm and professional atmosphere in our lobby.
Your responsibilities include:
* Supervising and supporting the Front Office team during your shift.
* Training and mentoring new team members and interns.
* Ensuring smooth communication with other departments.
* Handling administrative and financial tasks related to the shift.
* Performing all standard Front Office duties, including check-ins and check-outs in line with LQA standards.
* Managing guest inquiries, phone calls and emails with professionalism and care.
* Creating a welcoming environment for our international guests and ensuring every stay is memorable

Requisiti del candidato:

What you'll bring
* A spontaneous, flexible and detail-oriented mindset.
* A guest-first attitude and strong administrative skills.
* Leadership experience and the ability to energize a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights.
* Experience as a receptionist; previous experience as Desk Manager or Shift Leader is a strong advantage.
* Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
