We're seeking a Junior Copywriter to join our Studio Team, on a full time contract, based in our Warsaw office three days a week.
This role is crucial in bringing the Secret Escapes brand promise to life in Germany. You will be the voice that inspires our members to book their next escape, balancing aspirational, luxurious storytelling with clear, conversion focused sales urgency.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring writer to hone their craft within the dynamic world of luxury travel e-commerce. The successful candidate will join a team that is responsible for writing and creating copy and owning the brand tone of voice across our marketing content including, but not limited to, media partnerships, website, email and long form blog content.
This role requires you to take the lead in our German output whilst being line managed from London. You'll be able to create killer copy whilst being open to embracing the advancements in AI to help deliver on your briefs.
This role requires you to have German proficiency that is in line with a native speaker, and have knowledge of German culture and have strong business English.
The Team
Reporting into the Senior Content Manager, this role sits in the Studio team that drives forward the creative effectiveness of our brand across the UK and Germany. Working closely with our Brand team and being mentored by our German Social Media Manager,, you'll join a fun, diverse, fast paced, creative and welcoming team. This role is based in Poland and requires you to be in our Warsaw office three days a week interacting with your Studio colleagues but will also need you to be regularly interacting with your line manager and colleagues in London.
The role:
You will be responsible for all marketing and media partnerships copy across Germany. Content is central to our business and seductive storytelling and imagery are pivotal in converting new members and customers. To do this we must:
* Ensure all our content across multiple channels are optimised for best in class and continue to be captivating storytelling that converts to sales and new members.
* Ensure our content is commercialised and have our customers front of mind
* Ensure our content continues building a compelling brand that follows commercial strategies.
Your role will cover:
* Write compelling creative email campaign copy and headlines for testing with a best-in-class mindset and focus on commercial goals, always ensuring local nuances are considered and implemented
* Write compelling long-form content suited for our German customers on our blog.
* Write all German SEO copy, using that knowledge to create any of the above.
* Support Senior Content Manager on specific German copy requirements and idea generation of our integrated marketing campaigns to ensure each campaign springs to life and is compelling, witty and on brand onsite, in owned and paid channels.
* Work closely with the Performance Team, including search, display and specifically paid social, writing best-in-class paid marketing copy that performs and is aligned with wider marketing campaigns.
* Work closely with our Media Team, bringing briefs and ideas to live in copy that resonates with our customers and clients needs.
* Support our Social Manager on any organic social copy across platforms
You will be…
* Fluent in German and English
* A versatile and creative writer, able to create and iterate commercially impactful copy for various marketing channels, many with different copy needs (including but not exclusively email, creative ad headline and body copy, UX copy, social posts and long-form articles)
* Empathetic and engaging, capable of forging connections with our 'discerning traveller' community and adding value to their social engagements, to inspire and resonate with them
* You have the ability to work quickly, flexibly and iteratively, always looking to optimise your output against agreed performance metrics
* Highly organised and resilient, capable of delivering to deadlines and running different projects at once
