We are looking for an Oncology / Hematology Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Key Account Partners (KAPs), driving performance and helping AstraZeneca achieve or exceed sales expectations within the Oncology and Hematology landscape.
This role is responsible for the direct leadership of Oncology or Hematology KAP teams, with accountability for sales performance, team development, and execution against business objectives.
What you'll do
As an Oncology / Hematology Sales Manager, you will lead the national team to achieve or exceed established sales forecasts and call activity objectives. You will work closely with Key Account Partners to define ambitious and appropriate goals for each territory, ensuring strong alignment with business priorities and local opportunities.
You will proactively anticipate and address obstacles that may affect performance, supporting the team in overcoming challenges and maintaining momentum. A key part of the role will involve evaluating both individual and team progress against objectives, providing coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
You will also play an important role in developing the capabilities of Key Account Partners, supporting their growth and career progression. Alongside performance leadership, you will ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies relating to interactions with healthcare professionals, sample distribution, and other field-based activities.
Essential requirements
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree, together with experience in hospital commercial environments. You should be able to demonstrate strong leadership capability, financial management understanding, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable requirements
Previous team management experience would be advantageous, as would experience in Oncology and/or Hematology. Exposure to other business functions such as Sales Training, Operations, Product Management, or Market Access would also be beneficial.
