Position Summary

This is an opportunity to be part of a fun and dynamic team who have been part of a digital transformation. (COMPANY NAME).com has traditionally been a brochure-ware site and we're transforming it into an e-Commerce site. This team will be part of the online experience team so will benefit from being close to customer data and close to all elements of the customer experience. The successful candidate will need to work very closely with the product and commercial teams, from whom they will take their priorities. This will involve non-stop conversations about trading priorities, product launches and promotional and brand campaigns. Constantly thinking about how we can best position our products to increase conversion rate, average order value and sales.

Role and Responsibilities

Key role and responsibilities!
* Act as a leading figure within the team for driving improved user experience on (COMPANY NAME). Implementing critical thinking and process standard methodologies to drive a positive and progressive culture between team members and other teams
* Manage Digital planning for the TV, appliances and display product and marketing teams (TV, soundbars, fridges, cookers, washing machines, monitors) - delivering all the key projects to time and budget on (COMPANY NAME).com.
* Acts as the key liaison from the (COMPANY NAME).com team, receiving and translating required briefs from the product teams to provide proposals and activities that deliver against critical metrics.
* Creation/improvement and subsequent development of website user journeys that align to commercial objectives - set out by product category departments
* Design integrated communication plans for key website projects (including both product launches, brand campaigns, promotions and customer journey improvements); defining shared goals, identifying solutions and engaging partners and agency teams to build towards a final vision.
* Build and develop relationships with counterparts in the product teams to introduce new planning processes to ensure workload prioritisation is put in place, clear briefs are developed and implemented.
* Ensure best-in class on-site experience for the TV, appliances and display teams and ongoing upkeep of brand product information to remain relevant to the customer
* Support of the Head of (COMPANY NAME).com in key strategic decisions and communications relating to TV, appliances and display on (COMPANY NAME).com, helping to drive the online strategy for execution onsite for these product areas.
* Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure TV, appliances and display products are showcased on (COMPANY NAME).com in their best light, including re ordering of product information, updating content, adding signposting etc.
* Take ownership to explore insights and gain deep understanding of the product categories, the customers and the journeys they take on (COMPANY NAME).com and respond to these insights with actions that will deliver growth to target critical metric
* Work closely with other (COMPANY NAME) and agency teams to design and build new customer experiences on (COMPANY NAME).com that address struggles in the user journey. Develop a strong understanding of the construction of (COMPANY NAME).com and take responsibility to share knowledge across others
* Deliver regular analysis and reviews on product launches and other projects to ensure key findings are carried forward to future activity.
* Management of an agency team, including account manager, project manager, design, development, publishing and test.
* Line management opportunities may be available post-probation review

Skills and Qualifications

Skills and experience:
* The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability in online marketing or UX strategy, ideally within a large, multinational ecommerce business.
* Some merchandising experience would be amazing but not essential. Likewise, experience of working with UX designers & website developers would.
* Proven track record of planning and delivering large scale digital projects and campaigns such as launching new products to market across digital touchpoints or facilitating large scale updates to a website.
* Experience of having delivered consumer-centric, data driven activities at scale and speed. Able to interpret digital data and deliver clear and concise messages to partners. Excel and Powerpoint experience is preferred
* Demonstrable experience in managing Agency Partners, and ideally leading virtual teams/workstreams to deliver against a shared objective.
* Familiarity of working with Agile project management software such as Jira, Arsana, Smartsheet, Monday.com
* Outstanding communication & organisational skills enabling you to work effectively with partners across our business as well as with external agencies.

* Utilise strong argument and persuasive techniques to influence European and HQ teams to improve fundamental elements of the (COMPANY NAME).com user experience.
* Help to establish (COMPANY NAME).com/uk as a leading DTC subsidiary across European and global markets. Become a role model supporting other subsidiaries roll out standard methodologies.
