About this role
Just Eat Takeaway.com is looking for a Technology Manager, responsible for our team of Technical Operations Specialists, to provide L3 based technical operational support to the business and to the IT Operations team. This role will work closely with both our Workplace Technology and ITSM departments to ensure work is transitioned in a fast and efficient way to enable our Jetters as best we can.
As a Technology Manager, you will not only be guiding and inspiring a team of talented specialists, but also ensuring that your own skills and understanding of cutting edge technology changes and advancements remain up to date. Additionally, working with the Workplace Technology leadership team, you'll help to deliver the technical roadmap for the coming months and years for your team.
The role requires a highly organised, well-rounded and upbeat person who can hit the ground running and build collaborative relationships to support the dynamic environment we operate in where speed to market is a critical component of success.

At Just Eat Takeaway.com, the Technology Manager is responsible for ensuring that their team performs well and has all of the capabilities required in order to achieve their objectives. Whilst the Technology Manager need not be expert in all disciplines, they should have sufficient working knowledge to be able to lead, support and challenge each area.
You'll be accountable for:
* Workplace Technology - Technical Operations team based across the world. You will also work with peers to help ensure teams are aligned globally
* Owning the Workplace Technology operational tickets and how we maintain and support our wider IT Operations team.
* Understand pain points from ITSM and look to empower and automate solutions where possible.
* Investigate and resolve cross-departmental bottlenecks by identifying common friction points and implementing streamlined collaboration workflows.
* Working closely with Technology Managers within the wider organisation to help ensure we are supporting each other on processes and delivery of objectives, within all disciplines in Global Technology Partnerships
* Develop and manage relationships with external suppliers and hardware manufacturers and having regular quarterly check-ins to ensure we maintain a world-class service
* Lead on integration and introduction of new technologies into the business, following internal processes and ensuring we lead the way in our technology solutions.
* Training and mentoring the team, being invested in your teams development
* Understanding core business changes and partaking in CAB reviews
What will you bring to the team?
* ITIL Understanding
* Core understanding of Change management and Change Approval Boards (CAB)
* Ability to foster good working relationships between teams in a complex organisational environment
* Ability to react to real world security scenarios, i.e. bugs/malware and develop fixes in real-time
* A strong track record of personal development of yourself and other technicians
* Experience working with internal and external auditors to ensure we are compliant with PCI, SOX, GDPR
