Working Hours: Full-time, permanent. 9am - 5pm in the Liverpool office, with extra weekend working throughout the festival season, as required
Role Description
Cream lead the way in electronic music in the UK. Our passionate, dedicated team produces world class festivals and events that engage with hundreds of thousands of fans globally each year. Our brands include Cream, Creamfields, On The Waterfront Festival and In The Park Festival and we regularly promote artist-led tours and events with some of the biggest artists in the world.
We're looking for a Social Media and Digital Marketing Executive to work closely with the marketing team to deliver outstanding social media marketing content and campaigns. You will play a key role in planning, creating, and executing best-in-class social and digital campaigns that engage our community, drive ticket sales, and grow brand loyalty all year-round.
The ideal candidate will be a highly collaborative, reliable, organised team member with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for electronic and live music events.
The role requires a candidate with a range of skills, taking ownership of all our social channels including management, planning, scheduling, monitoring, analysis, producing/capturing and reporting on engaging and creative content.
You will have a keen understanding of social media trends and platforms and will collaborate with our in-house Creative Designer and the wider marketing team.
The Social Media and Digital Marketing Executive will also play a key role in the delivery of content for our websites and apps. You will also have an input in planning and booking paid media activity.

As part of the marketing team at Cream you will be integral to delivering campaigns for our festivals and events all year round. The role is fast paced, responding to changes in market conditions whilst still allowing time for more involved, long-term projects.
Cream is made up of some of the most experienced yet approachable people in the industry who are passionate about what they do in their respective roles. The majority of your time will be spent in our modern and spacious offices in Liverpool city centre with attendance at our events also expected.
Who you are
Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
* A passion for electronic music, live music and festivals with a customer first approach to delivering first class events
* Demonstrable social media and digital marketing experience in a professional in-house or agency setting
* Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
* Experience of creating and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
* Develop engaging, platform-native content including short-form video, reels and stories
* Assist in capturing live content during festival periods and related events
* Ensure all content aligns with brand tone and visual identity
* Proficient at editing content in CapCut, Premier Pro or similar editing software.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to plan campaigns that excite and engage our fans, drive brand awareness, engagement and ticket sales across multiple channels and platforms
* Strong communication and copy writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone of voice to the appropriate brand and / or audience
* Experience using social media management / metric tools to plan, deliver and analyse best in class social media campaigns
* Experience of website content management using WordPress or similar CMS
* Experience of using MailChimp and / or HTML would be advantageous but is not essential
* Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure and multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* A flexible approach to work with a willingness to be involved in the wider marketing process where necessary
* Experience of planning and buying digital media campaigns would be advantageous but is not essential

What the role includes
* You will lead and maintain our online digital social presence, championing our brands across all social platforms
* You will take responsibility for contributing, planning and executing our social media strategy
* You will be involved in planning and executing wider marketing campaigns
* You will be responsible for elements of our online customer service, responding politely and accurately to questions and queries
* Support the delivery of digital marketing campaigns for ticket on-sale, line-up announcements, and brand partnerships
* Collaborate with wider marketing, PR, and partnerships teams to ensure integrated campaigns
* Assist in curating and updating our websites and apps
Key Dates
You will be required to attend the following confirmed events plus any other events not yet confirmed;
* On The Waterfront (event dates 18th June - 21st June 2026) - working on site for the whole of event week and extended hours on event days. (Pier Head, Liverpool)
* In The Park (event dates 15th August 2026) working on site for the whole of event week and extended hours on event days. (Sefton Park, Liverpool)
* Creamfields (event dates 27th - 30th August 2026) - working on site for the week before and the whole of event week and extended hours on event days. (Daresbury, Cheshire)
