Technical Lead

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

As a Tech Lead at Santander, you will play a key role in leading the design and delivery of secure,
scalable, and compliant technology solutions within a highly regulated banking environment. You
will combine deep technical expertise in Java with strong leadership skills to guide engineering

* Define solution architecture aligned with Santander's enterprise standards.
* Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and risk frameworks.
* Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
* Lead design reviews and technical decision-making processes.
* Manage and reduce technical debt in alignment with long-term strategy.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, Architecture, Risk, and Security teams.
* Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

* 6-10+ years in backend development
* Preferably a university degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
* Java, Spring Boot
* Microservices
* REST APIs
* SQL / NoSQL
* Docker, Kubernetes

Other relevant information:
* Strong focus on security, compliance, and risk management.
* Alignment with enterprise architecture and governance.
* Collaboration across large, distributed teams
