Join Julius Baer's Structured Lending & Solutions team as a structured lending specialist, where you will play a critical role in Julius Baer's lending offering within the GPS Division.

YOUR CHALLENGE

* Act as subject matter expert structuring complex lending transactions collaborating with key stakeholders globally
* Liaise with clients to find suitable solutions for their bespoke lending needs
* Support the broader team in deal specific tasks and various other exercises

YOUR PROFILE

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education, preferably in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or Law
* Experience in collateralized transactions underlying being equities, fixed income, hedge funds, amongst other
* Work on front to back work stream coverage - origination, structuring, approvals (including liaising with control functions) and lifecycle management
* Preference for cross-jurisdictional experience, with understanding of complex cases (insider considerations, etc.)
* Technical background in collateral assessment (excel models, etc.)
* Background in transaction documentation negotiation
* Experience with derivative structures / hedged transactions
* Proficient in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, other languages are a plus
* Diligent, accurate, and reliable personality
* Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
* Critical and conceptual problem-solver with a growth mindset, with strong attention to detail
* Able to work independently, and take ownership, with a highly motivated and positive attitude
