Job Summary:**

The CRIB Trainee will gain foundational experience in supply chain operations, focusing on inventory control, material handling, and logistics within a manufacturing environment. This role is designed for individuals seeking to develop a career in supply chain management at Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist with the receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing of materials and components from the CRIB (Centralized Repairable Item Bank).
* Support inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliation processes.
* Learn and apply company procedures for material identification, labeling, and storage.
* Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
* Participate in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe CRIB environment.
* Assist in identifying and reporting discrepancies in inventory or material flow.
* Learn to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
* Document and maintain records related to inventory transactions and material movement.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain department.
* Follow all company safety regulations and quality standards.

Job Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or a degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
* Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 kg.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proactive and eager to learn.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Knowledge of 5S principles is desirable.
* Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus, but not required.
