The IT Development IBL placement at a glance:
An exciting learning opportunity is available for a motivated and enthusiastic student to join the IT Development team. Reporting to the IT Business Services Manager, this role will provide the successful incumbent with a well-rounded experience in IT solution development and valuable skills in application development, automation, business analysis, and cross-functional teamwork.

Your key learning will include:
· Develop Coding Expertise: Gain hands-on experience writing clean, efficient code in Python to build applications, automate processes, and integrate solutions; boosting your technical foundation for future projects.
· Create Real Impact with Microsoft Copilot: Design and build custom apps that streamline workflows and solve real business challenges-your ideas will make a difference from day one.
· Own the Full Development Journey: Go beyond coding: learn how to turn business needs into smart solutions, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
· Sharpen Your Problem-Solving Edge: Tackle complex challenges and translate them into practical, tech-driven solutions that deliver measurable results.
· Collaborate Across the Business: Work side-by-side with analysts, developers, and end-users, building strong communication and teamwork skills while shaping solutions that matter.
· Drive Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Spot opportunities for automation and process optimization and bring fresh ideas to life using the latest IT tools and trends.

Qualifikationen

.What we are looking for:
Self-motivated and pro-active students who are passionate about gaining work experience. Effective communicators who can build rapport, enjoy collaborating with others and have the confidence to step up and drive change and ideas.

To be considered, students must be an undergraduate in their second year or have at least 1 year left of studies as of January 2026 and would ideally suit a student studying Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
