Are you an aspiring cybersecurity professional eager to launch your career in a dynamic and critical field? We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Information Security Analyst - Student Intern to join our Information Security Office.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Identity and Access Management team, playing a vital part in protecting our digital identities and access controls against an ever-evolving threat landscape. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to real-world security initiatives, and grow within a supportive environment.

This role reports to: Manager, Identity & Access Management
This role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office) - based in Toronto, ON.

Key Accountabilities:
* Assist experienced team members with Information Security activities including access management, access reporting procedures, document and perform processes related to security monitoring
* Provide input and enforce security technology standards and procedures
* Resolve issues utilizing documented procedures and experience
* Provide input for developing automation solutions
* Provide security input to projects

Must have(s):
* Working towards a University degree or diploma in Computer science, Cybersecurity, IT Security, Information Systems Security
* Good knowledge of Security Tools, anti-virus, networking basics, Windows, Linux and AIX platforms
* Communication & Influence: Dynamic speaker with the ability to share knowledge and ideas with passion
* Strategic Creativity: Observant problem-solver who can translate abstract concepts into tangible opportunities
* Collaborative Partnership: Proven ability to build strong relationships and foster positive team environments
* Flexible multitasker who can reprioritize quickly to meet shifting business demands
* Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills in a technical environment

Nice to have(s):
* Knowledge of scripting, Python is considered a strong asset

Note:
* 4 month Co-op / Internship: May 4, 2026 - August 28, 2026
* In order to be considered for the position, you are required to submit your Knockri Assessment

Salary Range: $ 25/hour - $28/hour CAD
Please note that the salary range included is a guideline only. The salary offered may vary based on factors, including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
