Purchasing Intern

Job Description

* Indirect purchasing for all commodities for UAE, KSA and Oman
* Supports daily activities and special projects
* Provides seamless supply chain coordination with suppliers and internal business partners
* Ensures project timeline is met and keeps the stake holders involved / updated
* Participates in supplier meetings and takes meeting notes and derives project plan
* Prepares the purchasing documents, quotation, PSM, SM process and final work on approval
* Requests quotations from service providers
* Follows the tender / RFQ process in line with the iBuy policy on indirect purchasing
* Market research and source new suppliers if needed
* Ensures documentation of purchase orders and contracts in line with the internal audit requirements
* Other activities relevant to the purchasing area, as addressed by the purchasing supervisor

Requisiti del candidato:

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree graduate with less than 1 year experience
* Hands on experience on MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Good analytical, coordination and communication skills
* Strong negotiation skills, and supplier mentoring
* Proactive approach in resolving customer complaints
* Fluent in English
