The Opportunity
Orbitworks is a sovereign aerospace and advanced technology company in the UAE. We build and test real satellite systems - and our interns work on projects that matter from day one. This is not a shadowing programme. You will own a defined project, work alongside experienced engineers and business professionals, and present outcomes to leadership.
What You'll Do
Conduct a comprehensive Value Stream Map (VSM) of the production floor operations, capturing process flows, cycle times, waste identification, and improvement opportunities across the AIT and manufacturing sequence.
What You'll Deliver
* Detailed Value Stream Map of the full production floor
* Waste identification and cycle-time analysis report
* Improvement opportunity recommendations
* Final presentation of findings to operations leadership
What You'll Learn
* Lean manufacturing principles and VSM methodology
* Production/AIT flow and operation sequencing
