Founded in 2017 by siblings Dilan and Lezan Lurr, NAMACHEKO is a Paris-based menswear and womenswear label.

The brand emerged as an artistic exploration, blending the designers' Kurdish heritage and Swedish upbringing, first gaining recognition for its handmade costumes that challenged societal norms.

NAMACHEKO is known for its precision tailoring, intricate fabric development, and architectural approach to design, drawing inspiration from art, engineering, and craftsmanship. Through a continuous pursuit of innovation and new forms of expression, the brand reinterprets classic techniques with a contemporary vision.

Description du poste

We are seeking a motivated and creative Design and Atelier Intern to support our design team, from beginning of June to end of July 2026.

This is a hands-on opportunity to be involved in the design process-from concept to creation-while gaining invaluable industry experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the research and development of seasonal concepts and mood boards
* Offer fresh perspectives and ideas throughout the design process
* Create and refine design sketches and technical drawings
* Participate in fittings and sample reviews, providing feedback on design, fit, and finish
* Conduct market and trend research to inform design direction and identify emerging styles
* Contribute to Atelier responsibilities
* Help with day-to-day studio tasks, contributing to a smooth and creative workflow

Profil recherché

* Strong design sensibility and knowledge of current fashion trends
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop)
* Understanding of garment construction and pattern making
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
* Positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
* A portfolio showcasing design work (digital submission required)
* Currently enrolled in a Fashion Design program - school placement agreement mandatory
