Our team at the BMW Group is dedicated to advancing the next generation of power electronics for electric vehicles. We focus on model-based design and innovative simulation technologies, offering you the opportunity to support the development of the latest BMW electric driving modular architecture through your internship.

What awaits you?

* You will support preparing the HiL platform to run simulations from the PLECS simulation software.

* Furthermore, you help adapt simulation models based on existing BMW models not yet supported by the HiL platform.

* In addition, you contribute to connecting an embedded processor to the HiL platform for simulation model control.

* Moreover, you will assist in identifying and implementing automation opportunities within the development process.

* You help to improve current models and contribute to the development of the latest electrical driving modular kit.

* Furthermore, you will support collaboration with simulation teams across the architecture.

* In addition, you get involved in hardware and software aspects of the overall development of the electrical driving modular kit.

What should you bring along?

* Studies in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related field.

* Experience in power electronics and power conversion topologies or electrical circuits.

* Experience with the simulation software PLECS.

* Knowledge of power conversion topologies.

* Experience in model-based design and HiL platforms is a plus.

* Experience with version control and Python programming is a bonus.

* Good command of English and German.
