Your Role And Responsibilities

As part of this internship program, you will combine academic learning with real industry experience. You will work on a low-level cryptography project involving cutting-edge technologies and performance-critical algorithm optimization. Interns collaborate in a small, focused team and contribute to meaningful development tasks.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

* Enrollment at a university in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
* Familiar with some Linux distributions
* Knowledge of C programming, at least one assembly language, and experience with Git or other version-control systems
* A strong interest in cryptography or computer algebra
* Solid problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Fluency in German or English (spoken and written)

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

* Practical experience implementing big-integer arithmetic algorithms
* Familiarity with elementary number theory
* Knowledge of the IBM Z architecture
* Experience with Linux kernel programming
