Our team at the BMW Group specializes in implementing advanced data analysis and web development methods to support the development and optimization of high-voltage batteries and cells. We focus on innovative solutions to continuously enhance the efficiency and performance of our energy storage technologies for electric mobility.

What awaits you?

* You will support the development and application of statistical models for analyzing high-voltage battery and cell data.

* Furthermore, you help to prepare, evaluate, and interpret data with a focus on statistical methods and machine learning.

* In addition, you contribute to exploratory data analyses and hypothesis testing to identify optimization potential in battery technology.

* Moreover, you will assist in collaborating with experienced data scientists, statisticians, and engineers to develop innovative analytical approaches.

* You will gain insight into current methods in statistics, data science, and their application in electromobility.

What should you bring along?

* Studies in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field.

* Solid knowledge of statistical data analysis, machine learning (e.g. Scikit-learn, TensorFlow), and data visualization (e.g. Pandas, Seaborn).

* Experience handling large datasets and data preparation (e.g. with NumPy, AWS services).

* Basic knowledge of software development methods (e.g. version control, Scrum).

* Ideally, initial experience with predictive modeling methods and hypothesis testing.

* Team spirit and strong communication skills.

* Good English skills; German is a plus.
