Operations Analysis Intern
Location: KONE Elevator (M) Sdn. Bhd. - Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Why this role?
As an Operations Analysis Intern, you will be part of KONE's Remote Monitoring and Support team. This is a unique opportunity to see how IoT and data analytics are used to maintain global infrastructure. You will assist our Engineers in identifying elevator faults remotely from our Global Operations Centre, ensuring smooth performance for KONE's customers worldwide.

What will you be doing?
* Assist in the monitoring of KONE's strategic Major Projects and High-Rise projects within assigned regions.
* Support the daily analysis of critical issues to help determine root causes under the guidance of senior Engineers.
* Provide off-site technical support and assist in documenting site issues to help field operations personnel.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of existing data analysis systems, tools, and internal databases.
* Utilize collected data to help generate related analysis reports for stakeholders.
* Participate in cross-functional collaboration to learn how new solutions are created for process improvement.
* Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with clearly defined procedures and guidelines while maintaining a well-organized workflow.

Are you the one?
* Education: Currently pursuing a Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or similar).
* Technical Foundation: Basic understanding of circuit diagrams and electrical components.
* Analytical Mindset: Strong interest in data handling, analytics, and problem-solving.
* Software Skills: Good debugging skills (software/hardware) and a solid grasp of IT basics.
* Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel is required. Experience or interest in Power BI, Power Automate, or IoT/Internet Connectivity projects is a strong advantage.
* Attitude: A proactive learner who can work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.

Internship Requirements:
* Duration: 6 months
* Schedule: Full-time, weekday internship.
