Global Business Services (GBS) is an in-house service provider specializing in HR, Finance and Technology for Wilhelmsen - providing high quality, scalable, reliable solutions that drive efficiency, enhance customer experience and cost-efficient business support services

Who we are looking for
Who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people while supporting both HR and administrative operations. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to build practical HR skills, gain exposure to real-world HR operations, and contribute meaningfully to the team.

What will you do
HR Support
* Assist with employee onboarding activities, including preparing welcome kits and coordinating logistics for new hires
* Prepare HR-related documents and letters as required.
* Assist in maintaining accurate HR records and databases.
* Support preparation of HR newsletters, internal communications, and others
* Assist in coordinating employee engagement activities and company events
* Provide support on ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Administration Support
* Prepare and manage access cards for stakeholders
* Assist with office administration and logistics, including liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors
* Support Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) administration tasks.
* Assist with general administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations
* Provide support on ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

What experience and skills required
* Undergraduate students pursuing Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields
* Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and take initiative
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle confidential information professionally
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Able to work independently and as part of a team

Location
The position will be based in Kuala Lumpur office located at KL Sentral which is a strategic work location with convenience travelling by Monorail, Rapid Kelana Jaya Line, MRT and KTM services as well as easy to get to go by public transportation.
