You'll work in teams of typically 3-5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of the client engagement, including gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations.

You'll also have the opportunity to present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.

You'll gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. As a Business Analyst Intern (BA) you will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on your team. Additionally, you'll receive guidance and support from your local office in the selection of client projects, helping you to develop your skills and build your network.

As a Summer Business Analyst Intern you will get first-hand experience with consulting at McKinsey. At the end of the summer, you may receive an offer to join us as a full-time Business Analyst after graduation.

You will join as a Summer Business Analyst Intern in our Lisbon office and will be part of McKinsey Digital for 4~8 weeks in June/July to be a part of our client teams.

As part of this group, you'll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. You'll typically work on projects across all industries and functions and will be fully integrated with the rest of our global firm. You'll also work with colleagues from across McKinsey & Company to help our clients deliver breakthrough products, experiences, and businesses, both on technology and non-technology topics.

Requisiti del candidato:

* Being in your final year of a bachelor's program or first year of a master's program
* Outstanding record of academic achievement
* Currently enrolled in BSc or MSc program in computer science, telecommunications, or other engineering/technical related field preferred
* Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
* Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
* Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities
* Resourceful, intellectually curious, high energy and mature
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Portuguese, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels
