The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers hands-on experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, data management and process improvement initiatives. It is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to develop practical HR skills in a dynamic and professional environment.Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

* Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding activities for new employees.

* Help manage candidate documentation and maintain accurate records in the HR system.

* Support recruitment-related communications and logistics.

Data Entry & System Management

* Accurately enter employee data (new joiners, leavers, changes) into the HR management system (GEMS).

* Maintain and update employee records to ensure data integrity and compliance.

* Help troubleshoot HR systems and support updates or new software implementations.

Reporting & Analytics

* Generate monthly HR reports, including metrics on new joiners, leavers, and other HR indicators.

* Compile and analyze data for HR initiatives and present findings to the team.

* Assist in preparing and submission of statutory surveys.

Administrative Tasks

* Support invoice processing, document filing, and organization of HR materials.

* Assist with general HR documentation and communications.

Employee Communication

* Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

* Help prepare communication materials for employee engagement initiatives.

Special Projects

* Participate in HR projects such as reviewing and simplifying HR forms and notifications.

* Auditing and updating documents in employee P-files.

* Supporting other administrative and operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

* Excellent organizational and time management skills.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience: Previous internship or experience in an administrative role is a plus but not required.
