The hourly rate for this position is $20.77-$25.96 per hour.

What you'll do:

Eaton Mission Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to work with our dynamic team in a fast-paced, aerospace and defense manufacturing environment at our growing Davenport, Iowa facility. Eaton's internship program offers real world experience and mentoring through a variety of activities and assignments. Pay is calculated by your college status.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work on integrated product teams to improve manufacturing processes and procedures.
* Participate in capacity improvement, cost-out and/or lean manufacturing projects, analyzing proposed improvements and implementing change.
* Update work instructions and procedures to improve the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
* Junior/Senior status with a major in Engineering or BS technical degree (STEM) at an accredited institution.
* Relocation is not offered for this position. Must reside within 70 miles of Davenport, Iowa.
* Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
* This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR/EAR or have the ability to be authorized under licenses from Department of State and Department of Commerce. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Junior/Senior standing towards Bachelor's Degree in ABET accredited.
* Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering program.
* Prior related internship or work experience.
* Hands on experience with aircraft or aircraft systems.
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
