Role Overview:  
The Junior Business Insights Intern position is a 10-week paid internship program designed to provide you with hands on experience that aligns with your interests and skillsets. Throughout your internship you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects to gain practical skills, industry knowledge, and contribute to projects that directly impact the business. In addition, you will gain exposure to our senior leadership through our Amp'd Up with Leader Series and participate in different social activities with other interns and team members. To support your professional development, you will also have access to a variety of workshops designed to help you develop professional skills and you will be assigned a mentor in an area of interest to help you along the way.

The Junior Business Insights Intern position is the perfect opportunity to amp up your career if you are passionate about data, analytics, and transforming insights into real business impact. In this internship, you'll work closely with experienced analysts and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience with BI tools, data modeling, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop data models, reports and dashboards, collaborating with business intelligence experts to run tests, create product backlog items, draft technical documentation and support creation of training materials.
* Support cross-functional projects including identifying dependencies and workflows, coordinating multiple teams to adhere to defined timelines, highlighting obstacles and risks, and managing stakeholder communication.
* Partner with the Amplifon Analytics Community to improve product practices, share knowledge and contribute to change management initiatives across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Management or related field.
* Current Sophomore or Junior with a graduation date between May/June 2027-2028
* Knowledge of Information Systems, and web-based analytics solutions architecture concepts (data warehouses, data marts, KPI/metrics, dashboard design, and visualization types)
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools
* Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
* Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
* Self-starter, proactive and priority-driven
* Curiosity to learn new skills, explore new subjects and understand different perspectives
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous leadership experience through involvement in student organizations, volunteer work, or previous experience
Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hourly rate to be $25 per hour
Working model and hours: Our internship runs for 10 weeks and is designed as a hybrid experience-spend three days each week collaborating in-person at our Minneapolis headquarters and two days working remotely. Interns work about 40 hours per week.
