Role and Responsibilities
Position Summary
This internship focuses on developing innovative programs designed to influence employees within large enterprise customers to choose Samsung as their preferred work device. In most cases, companies provide employees with a list of approved devices, making it critical to target employees directly with compelling messaging about Samsung's advantages.
One of the key programs is the Employee Purchase Program, which extends Samsung employee pricing to employees of large enterprise customers. This program is operationalized through Samsung.com, where employees register with their corporate email address to access discounted pricing on Samsung devices.
Currently, HR teams within these companies assist in promoting the program, but they lack the bandwidth to frequently communicate about Samsung's pricing and promotions. The role involves building an admin portal for HR teams to automate the sharing of marketing assets related to the Employee Purchase Program. The portal will allow HR to upload contact lists, automate communication, and access engagement reports to optimize employee benefits utilization.
The intern will collaborate with a vendor to develop the portal and create a comprehensive go-to-market plan. Responsibilities include managing web development vendors, ensuring the portal meets desired outcomes, and planning successful deployment with customers. This role will also involve analyzing program performance, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to the overall strategy for enhancing employee engagement with Samsung's offerings.
Qualifications
Education:
* Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
* Final-year students or recent graduates are strongly preferred.
Skills:
* Financial analysis to create a business case.
* Customer-facing skills with executive presence.
* Understanding of how to stand up and manage proof of concepts.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
* Ability to scope web portal development and services.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with a vendor to design, develop, and test an admin portal for HR teams to automate the sharing of Employee Purchase Program marketing assets.
* Create a detailed go-to-market plan for the new program, including strategies for successful deployment with enterprise customers and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Manage web development vendors, ensuring the portal aligns with project goals, delivers desired outcomes, and adheres to timelines and budgets.
* Develop and maintain clear communication channels with internal stakeholders, including HR teams, marketing, and sales departments, as well as external vendors.
* Conduct financial analysis to build a robust business case for the program's development and implementation, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections.
* Assist in creating and optimizing marketing materials for the Employee Purchase Program, ensuring they are tailored to the needs of enterprise customers and their employees.
* Analyze engagement reports from the admin portal to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and recommend improvements for program utilization.
* Support proof-of-concept initiatives to validate program effectiveness and scalability, ensuring it meets the needs of both Samsung and its enterprise customers.
* Ensure the portal is user-friendly, secure, and compliant with company policies, industry standards, and data privacy regulations.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Employee Purchase Program post-launch, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the overall strategy for enhancing employee engagement with Samsung's offerings, including identifying new opportunities for program expansion or enhancement.
