Support the Training & Competency team in planning, coordinating, and delivering training activities while contributing to cross-functional engineering and operational tasks, enabling efficient knowledge development and collaboration across departments

This post reports hierarchically to Training & Facility Manager
Mission
Responsibilities
The mission consists of supporting the Training & Competency team while contributing to cross-functional engineering activities, including:
-Support the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs and LMS-related activities (Alstom University Platform - Riyadh).
-Contribute to the preparation and analysis of training reports, KPIs, and Dashboards using LMS tools and Power PI.
-Act as a coordination point between the Training Department and other departments (Production, Operations, HR, etc.) to support training and competency requirements.
-Participate in cross-functional projects by providing analytical, administrative, and technical support related to engineering and operational activities.
-Assist in identifying training needs through collaboration with different departments and support in aligning them with organizational objectives.
-Support the design, development, and continuous improvement of training materials and learning solutions.
-Support the organization and coordination of external training sessions, including communication with suppliers and service providers when needed.
-Ensure compliance with ALSTOM procedures and standards.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and documentation.
-Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Training Department and support innovation in learning approaches.
-Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements in all activities, in line with ALSTOM standards.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Requirements
Computer Diploma holder or similar qualification
Languages: Fluent English, other Languages is a plus.
Desired Knowledge / Experience
* Good communication skills (written and verbal).
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
* Proactive, motivated, and willing to learn.
* Flexible and open to working across different tasks and departments.
* Team player with a positive attitude.
* Basic technical of engineering knowledge is a plus.
