Job Description:
As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems. The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.
Kopter is set to become Leonardo's Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems. Kopter's 260 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

Key Responsibilities and learning opportunities:
* Support the design and development of aircraft and rotorcraft structural components within ATA 53, focusing on fuselage and airframe structures.
* Assist senior engineers in preparing 3D models, drawings and basic layouts using Siemens NX.
* Contribute to the preparation of certification documents such as simple compliance reports, drawings, technical justifications and configuration records.

Competencies and preferred background:
* Recently obtained degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
* Familiarity with CAD tools (Siemens NX or similar) and an interest in learning PLM systems.
* Curious and proactive mindset and willingness to learn from certification programs, test campaigns and documentation processes.
* Strong teamwork, communication and problem solving attitude.
* English language skills, minimum B2 level verbal and written.

* Salary: 4500 gross CHF/month
