Passionate, motivated, join our teams of state-of-the-art engineers.
Within SW Tools Support Team and for a Final Year Project internship continuing from the summer internship,
you will contribute to the development of a cross-platform desktop application (Windows, Linux, Mac).
* List available applications "ST Tools" with status display (installed, launch, uninstalled, update, etc.).
* Install, uninstall, update, and launch each application through a unified interface.
* Provide a simple UI designed with Electron.
* Execute system commands depending on the OS, with necessary security considerations.
* Add status checking to detect if an application is installed, up to date..
* Enable automatic update of the application list via API.
* Handle errors and logs, displaying them in the interface.
* Implement authentication features (Admin only access).
Deliverables include:
* Complete functional application.
* Packaged application version ready for deployment.
* Detailed technical report.
Software Engineer:
* Final year student in Computer Engineering, Software Development, or related fields.
* Strong academic background in Software/Electronics Engineering is essential.
* Knowledge of STM32 microcontrollers architecture and ecosystems.
* Strong knowledge of desktop application development (Qt, Electron, .NET MAUI, or other cross-platform frameworks)…
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript….
* Understanding of application installation, update, and management concepts.
* Good English skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
* Analytical mindset with autonomy and problem-solving skills.
* Multi-tasker, Punctual, and accurate with excellent organizational skills.
* Team oriented, collaborative, good personal relationships.
