Yes : do not hesitate to come with you own car - the ferry is not very expensive, but living 10 minutes away by car will be a lot cheaper.

Ireland is an expensive country (al least compared with Spain).It's easy to get part-time jobs to earn extra money, just have a look in pubs, supermarkets and more casual jobs.

bad financial surprise because the rent I was paying didn't include electricity and heating, and in Ireland, it is FREEZING cold in the flats during the winter, but they don't turn on the heating !!! So, if you do it for yourself, you have to pay.
