I did not know that finding an apartment in Strasbourg would be so easy and that the rents were subsidised by the French government. I had agreed to take the campus accommodation already before my departure from Finland for the whole year.

The accommodation at the campus is cheap and most of the residences are near the centre which is nice. However, the facilities and the hygiene are fairly bad, which started to annoy me in the end of the year.

It had catering facilities on campus, It was clean, close to the universuty, so I could walk.

I was one of the lucky ones that were able to arrange housing through the university. However, I enjoyed my room tremendously and couldn't have asked for better.
