I wish I had known...
I had been afraid of the language, because I only spoke basic German. But as it turned out, with a little bit work I learned it rather quickly.

This is definitely a university for people who don't like big anonymous universities. You will have to work hard for the academic part of your studies and on the same time will enjoy a lot of social life.

This is a very personal university, where it is very easy to get in contact with students and lecturers. They care for you and I found a lot of friends. The city of Remagen is rather small but you are in 20 or 30 minutes in Bonn, Cologne and Coblence.

I wish I had attended more German language courses before my semester. But in the end my German improved very much after my year in Germany.

Overall
"Business Administration" at the HS Koblenz has a widespread variety. You can specialize in few directions, HS Koblenz is very well known for their Tax, Audit and Accouting specification, with their practicing professionals as lecturers. The atomosphere in the lecture halls is very intent. You will get all the important teaching materials provided.

Housing
Type of housing: shared flat with student
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
I studied at RheinAhrCampus Remagen, a part of Fachhochschule Koblenz. In October 2004 opened a newly built dormatory. Would be good to be together all the time with many students.

Personal comments
The dormatory is completely new and well equipped. Costs are affordable. I will stay the next semester at Remagen, too and many of my friends will be living at the dormatory. To share a private apartment with other students was very comfortable, too.
