Overall
Haaga-Helia is a place to be for those who wants to get a real practical experience of the field they're interested about. My studies related to Event Management and I have a plenty of opportunities to organize and evaluate variety of events in and out of the campus as well as work with real projects (this Spring I've traveled with my fellow students to assist Visit Finland at ITB Berlin)

Personal comments
In Finland they separate students firstly by the sex and then they gather the students in the same flat by the same nationalities.Mixed with other nationalities and share the flat with both sex would be much more interesting. That makes part of the exchange programm. Living with peole from the same countries will only make people to gather in groups from the same country besides that some of them cant perform their english. Hopefully there was no more portuguese students besides me.

Personal comments
I recommend to buy food in big supermarkets (Prisma, Liedl, some products in Alepa). Besides, each nightclub offers "Happy Hours" once a week when beer or cider costs only 1 euro. It is also good to buy kitchen pots in second-hand shops (ex. we bought a frying pan for 1 euro, a pot for 50 eurocents and so on...)
