Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Since the campus is located a little away from the nearest city, it is more convinient to stay, with decent transportation and reasonable accomodation. Plus you get to interact with a wide range of people from various nationalities

Personal comments
It's pretty decent, and they have provided facilities to get most of the bare necessities. Other extra things that people may want is available at very reasonable prices during the flea markets, which are put up in campus almost once a month

For students wanting to live and work in Japan, after the course completion, learning the language is a must. There are only a handful of companies who would emply you without Japanese skills. If students are open to Jobs outside Japan, then you can comfortable survive without learning japanese. The main language in the University is English
