the environment is not easy, especially at the besginning and it gets worse as time goes by (night 22 hours a say, cold, snow...) and that's important to be involved from the beginning in the international students community.

Final comments
it's very easy to travel in Finland and from Finland (Sweden, Estonia,Russia, Lapland. Even if Lappeenranta is a small city, it's a nice place to stay!

the rooms are quite large, even if not well decorated, but all the foreign students are basically in the same building and that's pretty nice for parties !
